So abrupt and yet so true.- Sarika
les petits bateaux chapter 1 . 1/27/2006
I sometimes wonder what happen to our 'lovely and harmonized' planet when I read the news. It's very sad, isn't it? But I guess we just have to content with it until someone steps up and give a stand. :) Good poem though, way to go with standing out. :D
Kaggr chapter 1 . 1/6/2006
I know I should feel horrible about all of this, but it's just kinda like, 'Yeah, okay, let's see how many are dead tomorrow.' Kind of sick, but me and my friends sometimes bet on how many troops die the next day X_X
dancerintheroom chapter 1 . 1/1/2006
Well Summed up! Someone has to tell it how it is...totally honestly.
Nightmare Alley chapter 1 . 11/27/2005
I know how you feel-I see all the horrible headlines on papers, but I don't even feel much anymore. My dad told me about this one woman who murdered her children-I just shook my head in exasperation. There's so much of it nowadays. I've been working really hard to put an end to my depression lately, but it's hard when all of this is going on.
Loriency chapter 1 . 11/18/2005
it got worse when we elected Bush for a second term, but that's just my opinion. Either way...you knew that a fight like this was on its way...just...somehow, I think we all knew. It got so bad because the people of the world refuse to use their heads and do something about it. It's stupid...
Plinky chapter 1 . 11/18/2005
Great poem, I completely agree with you. It's terrible, I can't bear reading the news now, it's so depressing.

Fantastic poem, great message.

I promise I will start reading double edged swords soon! Sorry it's taken me so long.

Keep writing!
Hell's first Icicle chapter 1 . 11/18/2005

Jessica Wright chapter 1 . 11/17/2005
Good poem. It certainly seems to be all we hear about, isn't it? No good news, only bad, and you become immune to things that should horrify you.

Anyways, good work, as always.
