This little story brought quite a smile to my face. What a huge chunk of wisdom for such a short piece! Thank you for writing, I will take its message to heart.

This is a well written story. I love what you made the old man stand for, and reading this made me feel very sad and a bit nostalgic, knowing what the now grownup children and adults lost. The only criticism I can think of is that the new generation of children would take the place of the old one, but I guess that might not fit the exact mood you probably wanted in the ending.

Overall this is excellent story, and it's going on my favourites list.

Wow... That is such a wonderful story, it's like a beautiful fairy tale...And it's very true that children see the world much differently then adults. The line "You don't see very much anymore" was very well placed. Wonderful, wonderful job!

Needless to say, it's an incredibly good story. Just something simple and poignant.
