I loved this little side story! I had already fallen in love with Sorel and Daynar in the other story, but now I feel so much closer to them. I wish they had a book all to themselves so that I could read how Sorel rose in the ranks of his army and they became "practically married".

If there are ever any more chapters about these two, I would really love it! They've captivated me. _

This was so cute! I loved how all it took to get those two in bed together was just getting them in the same room alone. Lol they were so obvious.

The minstrels were cute, too - funny how Daynar thought they were fine to be with though he had qualms about sleeping with other men. Maybe because they were travelers and he didn't have to deal with them every day like he did with his soldiers - or maybe because they were so small and pretty it was like being with a woman. Hehe... just kidding about that.

Anyway I really enjoyed this. Keep writing!

update joy! really liked the story, these are two memorable characters. one thing threw me out though when Sorel thinks that Daynar is "way younger" I didn't think the "way" fit the time, seems more of a modern this world saying thinking. i really like all your writings, thanks for updating.
