I can relate. I get alot of these feelings when I'm playing the piano, amazing grace is very impowering by the way. The part in italics is so completely honest as well. Lovely tribute.

Great poem. I know how you feel, and I can tell you were inspired to write it. I loved your adjectives and images - "tiredy, kindly saxophone notes" and "russet-streaked apples" and "red crescendo" - wow. Good job!
