This was really a very tender and intricate word-picture of intimacy, and how it is supposed to be so much more than touch; now it is heart to heart, soul to soul, an interweaving and co-mingling. He shall cleave unto her and they shall be one flesh-two halves of one being, in some sense -intimacy coupled with commitment and promises that it will be (as it should be) forever.

Wonderful piece! A little short to be a short story, but one can just feel the thoughts you put into it, and that makes it quite a pleasing read. You should develop it into a full story! I'd love to read it!
