AAAAWWWWWWWWW! THat was the BEST pirate story I haveEVER read!

See, now here is a story well written and worthy of my degrading bookworm eyes!

I cried when Landon cried, it was like I was there.

And I honor you with my first ever FictionPress favorite!

That was bloody fantastic!

There's something inherently romantic about piracy. I think it's the freedom. Sure there's death and horror and if you're crew there's pirate law. But freedom of the ocean.

I think I'd miss animals though. Maybe keep a ship dog to kill rats? I guess that's also why pirates had parrots.

It was a good story but strange because chris was well spoken and written for a pirate. Espescially when he said that he had poor English?

Kinda weird... But that might be because I was tweeting back and forth with someone (no idea who she is) on Twitter while the page loaded, and she was talking about ice cream. CHOCOLATE ice cream. So, yeah, I was pretty distracted. I love it, though.

I can honestly say this is the most original pirate story I've ever read. I've only ever heard or read a tale from the eyes of the captain, and this is refreshing to say the least. Very well done.

Wow. i have got to say, i read this story without pause, and i have got to say that for your age (don't mean to offend) your story was amazing. the plotline, and descriptions were astounding, and your characters aren't flat, you can really picture them as real people. Your grammer was amazing, only a few mistakes that i took the time to notice, and i fell in love with captain shane by the end of the story. The only thing i was wondering was the language that they would be using, it seems that their speech would be a bit more old-fashioned, but, again, i love this story. DEFINETLY going in my favorites as soon as i stop acting lazy and log in. You have amazing talent! Do not stop! :D

As I am sure that my previous comments about your stories did not go unnoticed, I will not restate them. However, to answer the "question" you posed at the beginning of the story and your problem with it, I felt I had to say this much. You did a wonderful job writing as a man. I am, once more dazzled by your talent.

aww i love this story. lol and i love sailing, so to me, this is like the perfect story. you did an excellent job to write the whole thing in a guys point of view. great job!
