Reviews for Somethin Fierce |
---|
![]() ![]() ![]() All (or the few I've read) of your pieces are beautiful! Your writing sounds like rap, but with a lot of meaning put into it. You put across a message so well in this poem, and you don't even say it outright. Awesome. ) |
![]() ![]() ![]() very cool, very different too |
![]() ![]() ![]() Reminds me of Jim Morrison. For some reason. This is beautiful, by the way. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Okay, here goes: I love this poem more than I can possibly say. It says so much about love, so many different kinds of love, too. And it says it all in the same piece. I love how Romeo seemed almost to be a celebrity. I love "but I've never gotten over his: (somethin fierce.) Something else. Something vain." The first part of that totally caught me up in it, then how you kept going with it "Something else. Something vain." tied me up even further. Also, I love "I want to whisper names that I haven't learned yet." Mostly just because it really fits me right now. Basically, I adore this style and think it's my favorite of yours. This story is definitely a fav. |
![]() ![]() ![]() romeo never fell off any roofs (rooves?) trying to impress juliet, now did he? i like this. and thank you! sing if you like, i don't mind! x dani |
![]() ![]() ![]() Beautiful.. never read anything like this before. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Romeo, the one we all long for, fantastic job. |
![]() ![]() ![]() jeeze, pepol love your work, (myself included) u break ten reviews with like every poem i can;t even get one to break it |
![]() ![]() ![]() wonderous work of literature ;) keep it up i like this |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is great. Love the fierce strike of your words. Really nice. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow, this was amazing! Your use of words and description always amaze me. |
![]() ![]() ![]() A new, interesting style. I liked it-I liked how ghetto Romeo seemed, lol; "somethin fierce". I am guessing this is about a couple who liken themselves to Romeo and Juliet, and almost use it as an excuse for all the things that they do; "it's ok we have sex, because we're in love like Romeo and Juliet." Who knows, but it was very lovely, no matter what. To speak off the topic, I wanted to tell you how much your last review meant to me. Your reviews always make me feel good about myself, but that last one really put me on an ego boost. So, thank you. Brilliant work, obviously. Keep writing. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hmm. So many women I've known have been infatuated with "romeo," either literally or otherwise. I just wonder about his strange charm. You expressed something that could vary depending on the intelligence of the person reading, perhaps. *shrugs* I'm feeling brainless today, so I dare say I didn't get as much as there is. I like it a lot though, beautifully painted scenarios. Shalom x |
![]() ![]() ![]() I think I feel worse about Macbeth, mostly because he's an idiot and has no reason to be an idiot. Romeo and Juliet had reasons to be idiots, but Macbeth had no reason other than a little bit of ambition and an overbearing wife. |
![]() ![]() This is is new and different. I like it. It flows intensely. Suberb job. I reminds me of a book I haven't read, something infered from my last reading. Assumptions are dangerous. But it assisted in anycase. Thanks for sharing, do more of this style. Cheers. |
