The language is very descriptive, and I don't see any noticable mechanical errors.

Content wise, the context is unclear, although this is appearently intentional. Intentional or not though, a less creative audience generally won't have the patience to interpret it. Even for the rest of us, a background and setting would make for a more compelling story. It's a little like seeing just one scene in the middle of an annoyomous movie. That said, it's a very interesting scene.
