I'm surprised I read this far. The only character I liked was Sebastian and he was treated like shit.

This is an amazing story. I love the way its written, with the flashbacks and great descriptions of reactions and people. I loved Lucas's immediate, and problematic sarcasm as a defense and his ability to get lost in his art. His final wall painting sounds amazing. Lucas and Fynn have such a weird but well-fit relationship. Beautiful

Poor Sebastian :( I cried when I read the letter.
I always thought that Lucas would eventually realize that he had found another lover, who was Sebastian, and he also realizes that he just took him for granted. And that he finally realizes that people come and go, while Fynn left him, Sebastian came. Turns out I was wrong.
The ending though is nice. Well what can I say? They were meant to be since 1995. Poor Sebastian, the most selfless guy ever. Hope he's alright.

The way Fynn comes out to his parents, and the way his family was anticipating it yet not... Their handholding. :) And hey it may not be happily ever after, but that's life. I'll take happy for now.

I have to say, if after 7 years of reading this you end it with Fynn dying of a heart attack just after they get back together I'll be pissed as fuck.

It's curious to see this Fynn that is similar to yet a shadow of his former self (the self that Lucas loved). Carla was quite insightful... And quite right. :)

Once you post the final chapter, I'm going to have to re-read the whole series again. It'll probably make me laugh, cry and display other random emotions but it'll be worth it.

Wow! This chapter was so dynamic and the story progression was perfect. The interaction between the two is so adorable yet strained in a very tense way; it is so completely fitting for their situation. I loved this chapter and thank you for posting!

I had to re-read this story from the beginning, but I enjoyed it just as much the second time through. It's very bittersweet to read because it's so much like my life. Except I didn't get a happy ending. I hope Fynn and Lucas do.
