I actually think this story benefited from being a one-shot, though I certainly wouldn't had minded more. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy, and at the same time INSANELY jealous. xD

I really need to stop reading all these romance stories/novels, because they're forcing me to set the bar WAY to high. xPP

So grammar mistakes, and I would say a little hurried at some points, but all-in-all not bad.

I would try to describe the prejudice (sp?) about him being male and his feelings a bit more, because that felt a little rushed.

Nice work though, you better keep it up! xD

I enjoyed every minute of this story. It makes me wish I had read it during the day instead of the middle of the night so that I could have fully appreciated how well crafted it was. I felt like I was in an adventure game, especially in the beginning, and I love adventure games like whoa so I was immediately sucked in. As I said, it's the middle of the night so I can't really do your story justice in a review, but just so you know, great job.

Hurhur. I like this very much. It's well-paced and very chaste and... yup, feel-good! [With none of those unnecessarily squirming hentai scenes.] It's just... damn nice.

...Beautiful...I honestly cannot think of a word that better describes this piece in my mind...I don't think it is possible to like a piece this much, lol, it appeals greatly to the inner romantic in me ;) (it would have been awsome as a multi chap, but really? it's just as good in this form...if not more effective because it all happens at once...and then decends slowly into the finish). Much love for the story and the characters (especially Vasilis, of course...the emperor who is haughty and kind and arrogant and vulnerable all at once.)

One word: (and it's not gah!) YAY. Very very much yay. Like, this almost (almost, almost, key word almost) makes up for suffering through the current angst in Sandman. And actually, I found this story to be phenomenally well written.

... And it was HAPPY! And cute and sweet and awesome and HAPPY! *happy bubbles, whee! _* (it's definitely 1am, so cut me some slack, here Plus I used this story to make myself feel better about probably not getting into anything I auditioned for. It worked, actually. Quite well. Because it was HAPPY!)

I really loved the jump to six years later at the end, that was really cool. Sometimes when stories do that, I don't like it, because it feels like the story has gone too far, that the ending is too final, but this story didn't have that feeling at all. Rather, the jump into the future added a lot and made the story better. So YaY! And good night.

This is such a sweet story! The characters are very likable and I had loads of fun reading it! The switch from sacrifice to consort was funny. Yeah, hard to think of anything else to say, 'cept I really loved it _ It was so adorable!

Wow! Very original story, and I found myself laughing many times. Those two certainly make a great pairing. I loved reading every second of it! Great job. :D
