Loved it!

Yes, a corny ending, but it seemed suitable. The story was quite dark and sad so a happy happy ending was nice. It was really surprising to me that Katie had not accepted them from the start. I was convinced she wouldn't mind. Then she saw them after their first time. As if that wasn't enough Philip's father walked in on them on their second morning together. I amused myself imagining that they are cursed from now on and every time after they make love somebody is doomed to find them.

Oh... I really loved Owens the groom. :)

I was going to review until I finished reading the story, it's nearly 5 am but I will keep reading until I finish it or someone decides that I have to go to sleep. I'm reviewing because this chapter was really a turning point, it was so emotional and heartbreaking. So bittersweet. I truly love your characters. I've only just started reading this story and have, so far, found it amazingly complex and captivating. It's not a quick shag story or a just-met-let's-jump-in-bed-together sort of story. The main characters actually have a believable working relationship that is still building and more in-depth than a lot of other stories I have been reading.

Although I don't usually write reviews for stories until I have finished them. I just couldn't help but at least let you know how much I adore this story. It will be a sad day when I actually finish it, because it's so life-like and tantalizing I don't really want it to end. But, as all things do, it will. I only hope their will be a sequel afterwards or at least an epilogue that closes the story so as not to be left wanting.

Brilliantly written story. I look forward to finding other treasures of yours.

oh, this was just PERFECT! Just enough angst, enough drama... and then a happy ending. I love, love, LOVE this story. **cheers** I love all of the uncertainty, and then the cementing of the relationship... and the romantic things, like running away to paris

Loved the first chapter... For some reason, it was just... Unexplainable. But Im sure when I read more I'll be able to say more. I'm adding you to mah favorites -.-; I need to stop typing what I'll do like this .

I waited until the end, but it was hard! This was an absolutely amazing story, and exceedingly well written. I loved every bit of it, I think, especially the characters! I wasn't expecting such a gem when I started reading; your summary doesn't do it justice.

Also, a book suggestion, although I'm fairly sure you've read it already: Swordspoint, by Ellen Kushner, and it's sequels Privledge of the Sword and The Fall of the Kings are both (alternate world) regency romances.
