![]() ![]() ![]() Ha, go David. Very good of him. Poor Philip and David, seperated from each other ... but it seems like Katie is not so adamant as before... And what was that *jealousy*? Is she jealous of Philip and David? After all ... she did have a soft spot for Philip, and David's always been just hers. Maybe she doesn't want to share him?Anyway, brilliant chapter again, especially considering you had exams! Well done. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm very sorry that your exam(s?) didn't go well. I know how you feel; tests always stress me out a great deal as well. As for this chapter... *sighs* Poor David. Poor Philip to a lesser extent, since I don't have to worry about him quite as much. _; I think that they would be -so- much better off if they'd had more than a day to themselves with their new relationship in place. Then, at least, they'd have more fond memories to look back on and keep them strong while they're keeping up appearances. As things stand, however, there's not much there for support. I don't know that it's a -good- idea for David to go back to London so soon, but it's perfectly understandable that he won't (can't?) wait any longer. Poor dears. I only hope that Katie doesn't stir up too much trouble. If she does, I won't be happy with her. *makes a face* Well, thank you for the update, even if it was "just filler" to hold us over. I'll be looking forward to your next post! Good luck with school, if you have anything left. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hmm. What haven't I read of Oscar Wilde? I have Dorian Grey, the complete collection of short stories and 'The Irish Peacock and the Scarlet Marquess' - which was quite a read, took me hours to get through all the law stuff and the endless footnotes referring me to paragraph whatever in some bill at whatever chapter - though I was greatly amused by the dialogue from Wilde. And I've watched The Importance of Being Earnest. Anything else I can't remember. Ah, but this is meant to be a review.. Exams suck, had three hours of one today, my hand was shaking by the end of it. Yeah... review, I'm getting there. As a thought, would they have used 'I'm' or 'hadn't' etc then? (I know there's a proper word for it but I can't remember.) Oh well, it's hardly like it matters a great deal. For a filler I still thought it was good - of course I did, David is going back to London where Philip is! I'm stopping babbling now... |
![]() ![]() ![]() OMIGOD. I've been reading this since 11 AM and now my brain is trying to explode because I LOVE it. and I want to read more. I understand finals XD I had those last week, and my brain was a'sploding and I couldn't write shit. but, I'll be waiting for the next chapter, kay? good. ~Twitch! at the Disco. XD |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ah, poor David. Not much more to say than that.. ( |
![]() ![]() ![]() Stop the compliments, you'll make me blush. I may simply be more coherent than others because I only know how to well-write english. Back on the tracks. Well there is no real change for the moment but I'm glad that David didn't tried to hurt himself. I wonder if he will tell Katie a little about all the things she doesn't know. After all she can't simply guess them by herself if nobody tells her. She probably won't trust it. But if it comes from her own brother and if he goes a little at a time and only with things she can recalls proofs of… well perhaps I'm quite the hopfull kind. But it could deserve a try. |
![]() ![]() ![]() lovely. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for the acknowledgement! Oh, more beauty. This chapter was superb. I can see Katie's going to be interesting to sort out already ... I can't wait for the next chapter. Well done; I applaud you. |
![]() ![]() ![]() *long sigh* That was such a beautiful ending to the chapter. Sad, yes, but... Beautiful. Great chapter altogether. It's not jam-packed with action or anything, but it's not slow in a -bad- way. It's slow in a... helpful way, really. At least it gave me a chance to collect my thoughts concerning the situation. And yes, it's a bit short, but that's -completely- forgivable. I'll be looking forward to the next update! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I want David to talk to Katie... make her regret doing this to them. I don't entirely dislike her yet or anything, I just wish she understood what Phillip was to David and what she did by making them seperate. I love the story! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Aiee, I dunno. I'm terrible at coming up with summaries. But yours really doesn't do your story justice, it makes the entire plot line too black and white. Like I said, though, who am I to talk? I could hardly come up with a better one. Damn, they need to get back together. p.s. I love Oscar Wilde - did you ever watch the movie about him starring Jude Law? |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yup, pretty angsty. But I guess life (and as a result stories as well) sometimes has to be a bit angsty as well.I especially liked the ending where David thought back to the last few hours.I wish you luck with your exams! I'm pretty sure almost eyerybody will understand that the chapters are a bit shorter because of that. I think its pretty good that you update in spite of the exams; I wouldn't have had enough time and energy for that during my exams and I only had two a week! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh that's so sad! I hope Katie comes around soon, she seemed really nice story! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love this story! I have to admit that when I first glanced at the summary I wasn't exactly eager to read it, but when I did the story blew me away. It is extremely well written and - because I have a habit of reading stories in the middle of the night to save being interrupted when it's just getting really good - I had to smother my laughter more than once. Especially at the letters from Katie and Philip when they were running away, that really made me laugh. I also like Katie's reaction to it all. A lot of stories I read can be really unrealistic, but no, this is great! Oh my, I'm starting to babble now. I hope you update soon, I need to know what's going to happen to them. I'm glad Philip finally wised up to what an ass he was being. |
![]() ![]() ![]() She is starting to get on my nerves but I still don't hate her. For now at least ?… last ?… (did I ever mentionned that I should use a dictionary ?) well. I'm sure those too can come out with something to do, for this I don't worry. But what I worry for (or who in fact) is David. I wonder how many cut will be needed to get trough this. Particularly now that Philip isn't allowed at his side. |
