Wow, great beginning. It's slightly cliche but who doesn't love a little cliche every now and then? I love it so far. There's a nice consistency with dialogue and description and the characters are interesting. Nice work!

That means a lot more to me. And I love your main Character. That is a freaking awesome theif right there. And I do like it how you tell things realistically. This guy doesn't have some nifty secret hide out where he's got all the food he needs. I can't wait to see how Kyra turns out after first impression.
