Reviews for Excerpts from the Diary of a Dark Lord |

Nyx Wordsmith chapter 12 . 1/30/2010 Oh. My. God! That was awesome! I couldn't stop! I wanted to know more, to hear more. It's epic! I love the fact that it's first person, but the charcter isn't faceless or nameless. Your character was well developed, the setting was well created, but the lack of storyline dissappointed me a little. What happened? What was supposed to happen? Who did what? And I know that the story is exerpts from the diary, so a storyline may have been a little wack, but possibly a slightly more fluid line in the telling would have made more sense. But I congratulate you because it sounded very much like a diary, and it did extremely well. Well done and good luck in the future. |
Etc.' not etcetera chapter 12 . 11/11/2009 I really enjoyed reading this. Short and sweet might be one way to put it. I really liked the idea of the Dark Lords being the 'good guys' in their own way. And i should say more or something but thats really all I wanted to say. If I had to critique it I'd say, It stands on it own very well, but it'd be easy to slip in a sequel or another story stemming from this idea. And readers who liked this story would most likely read the next just because of the central idea and it's novelty. Though I'm not sure if it really is a new idea, but its the first time I've come across it, so... If you'd tell me if you ever write another, I'd appreciate it! (on second thought thats not a critique... oh well.) |

FuelingtheFire chapter 12 . 8/28/2008 . . . That was the most awesomest thing I have read in a long time. And I have read A LOT. I mean. Oh my God, you had me laughing so hard at times and completely sympathizing with a Dark Lord. My status as an ingrate is severely compromised because of you. I hope that other reviewer did not, in fact, feed you to his/her kitten, because I want you to see my review (though quite behind the times). That was beautiful. You are my hero. |
Spideymint chapter 12 . 4/15/2008 To give you all that you deserve, I should probably leave a review for each chapter of your story. However, I am, alas, too lazy, so let me just sum it all up right here: You are completely brilliant. Thank you so much for that. |

Storyteller Phoenix chapter 12 . 3/7/2007 This is a most excellent Evil Lord story, and a very creative take on the reason for having Dark Lords in the world. We were highly amused. |
Shadow Gryphon chapter 12 . 6/6/2006 *claps!* Yes! I was right about Smith and Boswald. *cheers* Oh, yes. A Florist's Guild. Wonderful... I'm adding this to my favourites list. And could you maybe e-mail me about that short story I thought of? I'll give you credit and everything. It's just the first thing I've wanted to write for a while. Long live the Dark Lords! (Or Mysterious People of Great Importance). Gryph |
Shadow Gryphon chapter 11 . 6/6/2006 O.o No! Morgodeth. Damn you for making me like him so much. *reads list* *cackles* Oh, yes. That was beautiful. Especially the bit about Lady Deathorn. But Morgie... *wanders off to read epilogue* |
Shadow Gryphon chapter 10 . 6/6/2006 Oop! Gah! Why didn't he wake Smith up, hm? Or say that someone else did it? Stupid Marty Cunningham. I'd feed him to my budgie if I could get my hands one him. |
