This concept works well because fairy tales have a universal quality that is identifiable, and therefore the reality of fairy tales is always questioned, which makes an anti-fairy tale the more powerful. | in theory chapter 1 . 2/3/2006 Totally unexpected and bizarre (meant as a compliment, I like surprising pieces). I'm getting a little tired of the whole peterpan saga new phease that fictionpress seems to be practically pregnant with right now, but this was entirely refreshing. Different, is what I mean...all of the others are like oh I want to be young too peter is so cute oo he looks good in green and wow his eyes are pretty like my clicheclicheCLICHE lol. Argh. You can see how worked up I get. Sigh. But like I said, new meat here. The last line is maybe not needed, the reader can really get a feel for the raw reality of this piece without the random cottoncandy part. Does the fairytale have candy in it? Who knows. Hehe. Not trying to be critical, just criticisms are rarely a hundred percent nice anyway. But this was great, keep it up! Peace. PS: I have an idea for a fairytale linked thing now darnit.
