It's so vivid.I feel like I'm right there in the scene. It's wonderful. Made me smile in a sad way. :P
| Sir Trafford Leigh-Mallory chapter 1 . 3/6/2006
the ambigiouty of the poem (which seems to be a theme) is effective. There is intense imagery that i enjoyed, the underlying or even overlying political message appealed to me personally, the portrayal of squalor as well. A good poem in that various people can take what they want out of it.
| Moondog Dozier chapter 1 . 3/5/2006
Wonderful use of vibrancy. The theme sneaks in throughout well. Last line was excellent. Well written.

"her eyes beady/And greedy for a smile"
Bizarre images, powerful meaning. I love it.
