| frugale chapter 1 . 2/26/2010
You did a wonderful job writing this, we feel such, such strong attachment to the adressee of the poem, that for some time I was struggling with the interpretation - is it a lover? a brother? a soulmate? before I established it was a father (and God, I hope I'm not wrong!).
I really need to point out the fact that theif surely was intended to appear as thief...?
| Anna Christie chapter 1 . 10/26/2009
"beneath the weeping August sun,
two days before my eighteenth with the air
so scalding thick,
i couldn't breathe,"
Amazing. (Those were my favorite lines.) But this whole thing is just stunning and so, so heartfelt I feel like I'm a part of it when I read. I have a question as to what it's really about? If you would tell me, that'd be great, if not, that's fine too. :) Because, either way, this poem is quite amazing.
