|Reviews for Tin Soldier|
| xoxoMizzatxoxo chapter 1 . 5/8/2006
Beautiful. Poetry is different for everything. It just depends on who you interpert it. I think that this is talking about a guy that just sorta gets banged up and can't move it. I love the part about why you can't understand why hide and see was always hide from me.

Sad, but an awesome write. Keep'em coming.

Thank you for your reviews, and no I don't expect much. I take what I can get.
This poem means a lot to me, I felt just like the tin soldier at many points in my life already. But there's always someone or something there that helps me out of my lurch and makes me smile. I hope other people are that fortunate.

Hei there Matt... good poem. It's emotional, touching, sorrowful... I just loved it.
Please never stop writing.
| Boots of Press chapter 1 . 3/27/2006
That was so good that it just flowed all the way to the end when it stopped abruptly and gave the reader a pause. I really like it, it made me a little sad and not too many things do. Consider that. Keep writing.-Press

Reminds me of the Velveteen Rabbit and how he became real...
Thanks for a brilliantly crafted moving piece.

Impressive as ever Matthew! Knowing the children's story really made this poem come to life as well. An excellent write! Fave lines: 'Filled with saltwater sorrow / And freshwater memories"
| EWindheim chapter 1 . 3/27/2006
Sorrowful and true. I know how this feels.
