|Reviews for It's April|
| the naked civil servant chapter 1 . 7/1/2006
i must stop relating ooriginal beautiful poetry to mainstream pop lyrics, but this did so remind me of :
& the plants are dry
& they need to drink
so you do your best
& you flood the sink
sit down in the kitchen & cry
mood of utter desolation, desperation, numbness, delusions. beautiful and sad.
| Femme de Dieu chapter 1 . 4/20/2006
Whoa! That last line! Was totally unexpected and hit me like a ton of breaks upon the back of a feather.
It seemed to be such a light and airy litle ditty, April (time of renewal and love) and kitty-kats named Mr. Eliot. How whimsical...and then...
Thrown in a pit of despair.
EXCELLENT work. I love the simplicity of most of your pieces. To capture complex thoughts in few words is a real art. But you've also written lengthy prose also, with just as much understanding and depth.
Keep at it!
| chaos called creation chapter 1 . 4/16/2006
Dreamy and almost alluring. Intriguing picture this gives off
| classic violet chapter 1 . 4/13/2006
Simple & brilliant.
| dollface and her cancer chapter 1 . 4/10/2006
I am oddly charmed by this.
It's so simple, you know there's just got to be something you aren't seeing.
| not sure yet chapter 1 . 4/10/2006
o my, what a mood you have created here, quite nicely done, leaves a nice hollow feeling, simple and effective, excellent poem...
| diffident chapter 1 . 4/9/2006
This makes me sad. I don't feel a thing either. :( The concreteness of this poem and the simple statement at the end go well together. I like.
| oh.augustine chapter 1 . 4/9/2006
Oh, this is beautiful.
| water lily nymph chapter 1 . 4/9/2006
hehe, how sweet! by giving the cat the name 'mr. eliot' it seems as though his opinion is highly valued. like he must *approve* of spring. well done. :)
