Reviews for Angel
Rouxas chapter 1 . 4/2/2007
Hail!:

English language use "to be" to tell in Spanish "Ser or Estar" but in the Spanish language "Ser" and "Estar" are two different terms. For example when you are telling "I'm an Angel" in Spanish is "Soy un Ángel" or in this case "I'm eating" in Spanish is "Yo estoy comiendo", so if you are speaking about characteristics (Adjectives,Nouns) use "Be" in Spanish "Ser" if your are speaking about a status, it can be a place, feelings, Use "Be" in Spanish "Estar".
Mantis Matsuri chapter 1 . 7/29/2006
Perhaps you want to say "Soy un ángel" intead of "Estoy un ángel" since Angel is not an adjective but a known, so it is a matter of being as existence per se rather than it is a transitory state.

However, the poem itself is beautiful.

I'm taking Spanish one this year and I actually understood (most of) it! I love it. It's so sweet and cute. Aww. I just wrote my first real Hebrew poem the other day (I might post it but I'm not sure) and it gives you the biggest feeling of accomplishment when you write something (good) in another language.

Well I promised I would review all your works...but all I could read was the first line. well, and the word "tu". I'll go study my Spanish and come back in a month or two and review for real then :) but angels are nifty and make fun images...
