| Aimee Raven chapter 1 . 5/14/2006
Wow. I *love* the beginning...the whole poem is great, but the beginning is especially so...such a portrayal of time and mortality...love and war...stunning...it left me very wide-eyed and I had to re-read it twice...kudos to you! Love, Mia

That is gorgeous. Such beautiful soothing words, and it makes this rhythmic cascading poem. Wonderful. I especially like all the imagery with sand and water. It reminds me of one big beach. Keep writing! :)

| Raiyune chapter 1 . 4/18/2006
Wow.. This poem is so incredibly profound and beautiful. The first part reminds me of a book I read for English class, A Separate Peace by John Knowles. And I love the ending. It kind of makes me think of the last note of a song - even though the song is over, the finality of the last note makes the melody linger on in your thoughts. Wonderfully done! :D

"What has not changedis that I can quote myself truly in meaning / that I cannot make time slow long enough / to build and bring light to new worlds without you / before all the galaxies spin to dust / spin to sand"
