The last two stanzas amaze me... not that the other parts of the poem are bad, in actuality I love this and it's going on my favourites. Great work! :)

Ending was my favorite part, but the beginning captured my attention. Overall, I think the poem is on the sad side mixed in with curiousity?(not sure... I get that feeling when I read the first stanza.)"Clutched in hands wreathed in darkness/Bleeding as it fades away" Dark, but beautiful at the same time.
