Wow wow wow, I just read all the chapters when I should be doing hw but I cpiling make myself stop reading. I really need to know what's happens next and what her parents actually were. anyways it been around a year and I'm just wondering if there's any hope you'll be continuing it later ? Man, this chapter packed a lot. :( Cassia's a trooper - I like how she gets through things but isn't one of those "oh nothing fazes me" heroines. She's witnessed some pretty traumatic things, and I'm glad you've given her normal reactions.

That was graphic. I would've thrown up as well. I wonder why they made Cassia hand over the tape. Poor girl. D:

Wow! I absolutely love this story. I'm so attatched to the characters! Honestly out of the stories with the mafia/gang/spy storyline, yours has to be the most realistic of them all. It shows that not all of these stories are perfectly happy, cliche etc. It helps us form a personal bond with the characters and helps us connect to the story and with you as a writer. I just checked out the reviews, just curious, and I saw the horrible review a 'Guest' left; which is completely untrue, and I find your other 300 and so reviewers will agree with me. Just thought to leave a review, incase the Guest offended you and put you off from writing. Keep up with the fabulous writing! Hope to see another chapter soon ;D

This honestly has to be one of the worst things i have read in years. Got up to chapter 3 and i just cant read another word of this garbage. The premise is absurd, the characters utterly unbelievable and i think the whole thing should be reclassified under 'humour'. If u want to be taken seriously as a writer, don't treat your readers like brain-dead morons who have to switch off their intelligence to make reading this shlock even bearable.

So here I am again, writing a review because I went back and reread your story as well as looked at my own review history and it turns out, I had read your previous version a long long time ago back when we both were in a group called reviewer's found. Huh, as I was reading the old reviews I wrote (which were terrible by the way, I apologize for the terribleness), I was getting some flashes of the previous version. I support your decision to rewrite the previous chapters and I am waiting with baited breath that you are able to join us again on this site and give us insight into where you are going with this story. Your writing style is beautiful and well paced. Each of your stories has wonderful character development and each chapter moves it towards the reader along with the plot. It's been wonderful to come back to this site and see amazing talented writers spin wonderful stories with their words. For LFLS, I am just amazed at how well each of the characters have changed from the beginning, we're seeing so many different sides of everyone and it's wonderful. I look forward to seeing how Cassia's character changes after this traumatizing experience. I like how Jack still has his one face, this face of the hard and tough leader of a mercenary group. You see a little bit of his caring side when Ellie dies, but I'm glad that he's still just as rough and emotionless as he has been. It makes Lance's arguments towards him after touching moments with Cassia that much more interesting as we see Lance no longer fitting within the mold his father had created for him.

I am vastly disappointed with the lack of updates, but I understand that life will always take precedence before stories written on a the internet. I only hope that you and your family are doing well during the holidays and that somewhere, you have a break to just sit and relax and do whatever it is that helps you unwind. (Hopefully it's cranking out a few chapters for your unfinished projects.) It's a breath of fresh air to be able to read well rounded stories, and I thank you for giving me inspiration to go back to writing and a wonderful example of amazing character development and a well thought out plot lines that leave very little room for filler chapters. If you ever need anyone to bounce ideas with or to proofread your works, my pen is here and it is mighty. Happy Thanksgiving Ms. Cormack, I am very thankful to have found your stories again.

This chapter was extremely well written and let me you I've had to reread this a couple of times because of how well you've written it and how badly I'm wishing there was a new update. I'm excited to see where you are going with this rewrite. I do hope that life is giving you enough of a break to do whatever you enjoy to do. I'll be waiting here stalking your page and reading all your amazingly written short stories that you have completed. Thank you for being another author on this site that has inspired me to go back to writing and giving me a fantastic example of amazing writing.
