Reviews for Through Me |

![]() ![]() ![]() soooo goooood |
![]() ![]() ![]() WELL HELLO THERE PRETTAY LADAY. GET READY FOR A LOOONG REVIEW. But in all serious, PIP PIP CHEERIO! Maybe you remember my longass review on False Facades from the day before I'm typing this, or maybe not. EITHER WAY, LIKE MANY READERS, I HAVE READ FF, AND NOW I AM READING THROUGH ME. And there are some things I will say that don't concern 'pleeeeasse update soon omg i love you storiesss! you rock!' But we'll get to that. I promise (; There are a lot of things I love about FF, and many I like about TM that aren't found as constantly and obvious in FF. First, lemme get this off my shoulders: I love Adel. Very well done character. Sometimes she confuses me and makes me cringe, but hey: that's what I love about her. Let's not forget that I'm one who loves to talk (and type) as well, so her snappy retorts leave snickering and nodding to myself. In my opinion, she's a very well contrast from Sammy. Sammy, in my book, was (and kinda of still is) dangerously close to 'Mary-Sue' territory. Now, I know without a doubt that you've thought about it, right? So you probably already know & I won't bother to name the characteristics and symptoms, but I love how you'd butchered all possibilities of Adel being a Sue, yet still managing her to be likable and a great character. At the very least, this is proof that you've got 'variety in your act', for lack of a better words, and thank YOUUUUU for not throwing in a 'Sammy with another name' for Tristan. I would've somehow managed to finger you through the computer screen. The middle finger. Not the other finger. Unless you'd like the other fingering, then I may consider... Ohohoho~ OKAY, PERVERSITY/WILL-INFLUENCE ASIDE... Is it me, or did you struggle with this story a lot more than False Facades? Maybe you struggled with both, but there's something about FF that makes it rather 'smooth' and just... light hearted, despite the dramatic moments. It flowed very well, and was packed with a lot of details that really impressed me. If you ask me (which you didn't. I'm sorry if this is all hurting you...), this story is very proficiently written (like your attention to details, etc), it seems lacking at times. Like despite the developing, Tris and Adel's romance feels empty and not real to me. Maybe you wanted to achieve the effect of 'shaky romance that could fall apart, but they're gonna try their hardest to hold onto each other' and all that lovely sparkly romance stuff, so I won't judge. I love that too. Just reviewing what I've observed. SORRY AGAIN IF I PUSH WRONG BUTTONS, HOMG. This is so hella long. You probably cowered from this upon seeing it, if ever, didn't you? Ohohoho, well, I'll kindly stop rambling and leave other comments for Chapter 30 when it comes out. If you want to hear from me again. You probably don't. )': UPDATE SOON! I HEART YOU! YOU ROCK MY WORLD! MAEVEN, LET'S MAKE BABIES TOGETH- *gets kicked* okay, i'll gtfo now. Regards. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I miss you. Please come back. I need more Tristan and Adel. |

![]() ![]() ![]() I like the story line an everything but I miss Sammy and Vince. nd more of the other characters, no offense |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm really loving the developments of your characters! Especially Adel (: I was kinda sad to have the focus of the story redirected from Sam, but it turned out to be really good! I really admire how you can develop these characters throughout their dialogue and actions-showing, not telling right? |
![]() ![]() ![]() I loved False Facades, and I'm definitely falling in love with Through Me. I love the suspense and how you develop the characters throughout the story instead of just putting it out there. Keep writing! You have great potential! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow. This is really good. I read Vincent and Sammy's story yesterday, since it got put on ADR, and this one was also really good. But wow. You've sure been writing it for a while. haha That's awesome though. One more chapter! Ye Gads! |
![]() ![]() Update soon please! Its been months! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Awwwwww A hint of love :x Gosh I love these two as much as i love Sammy and Vincent. Go Adel and Tristan! :x ;) |
![]() ![]() ![]() great first chapter...I still feel kinda bad for Tristan, he would have been great with Sammy as well... |
![]() ![]() ![]() Great story :D:D It's nice to know that Tristan got his lovin' You are an amazing writer! Please update soon! Eva |
![]() ![]() ![]() Love It! :X |
![]() ![]() ![]() Okay, I LOOOOOOOVVVVE this story but there is one thing bugging me. You keeping changing which tense you're writing in. For example: 'Resigned, she slowly crept down the steps anyway, her bare feet quickly turning to ice at the touch of the cold marble.' Is written in past tense (the most common tense) but then in the next paragraph you change to present tense: 'The faster she finds Rosie, the quicker she can get her hands on more suitable clothes.' It should be: 'The faster she found Rosie, the quicker she could get her hands on more suitable clothes.' Sorry for the little English lesson and I really do love your work but you keep changing tenses all the time in almost every chapter. It's really annoying. Anyways, keep up the writing because you're AMAZING at it...typos aside. Love the story, especially the characters. [Thumbs up] XD |
