| Nicholas Scott chapter 20 . 12/30/2006 Aww. You know there's gonna be fireworks when Cody and August finally make love. And, maybe it's just me, but It didn't seem like Cody was really that mean to August. I mean, it seemed more like flirting than anything else. You know like elementary school boys pull the pony tail of the girl he likes, although he doesn't really know that he likes her type of thing. There was angst in the way that they reacted to each other in the beginning, or rather on Cody's part. As if he liked August, but didn't want to because of his past relationship with X. Anyway. As usual, I loved it. I find it peculiar, and this is just from my perspective, that there hasn't been more interaction between August and his other friends. I'm surprised that there hasn't been any jealousy issues now that August has Cody. Maybe I'm too used to the drama of gay friendships. But like Keith and August, they don't "like" each other? There's no attraction. Of course we really don't know what Keith looks like or the other friends for that matter. As a critical point, I guess, you need to put more of the other friends in the picture. Otherwise, Cody and August are pretty much living in a bubble. Granted, when two people get into a relationship, it seems that everyone else doesn't exist, but that's normally within the confines of the relationship. As a reader, an observer to the story, I think it's important that we get more of the other friends in the story. Anyway...now that I've babbled on...CAN'T wait to read more.
