This is too much. The girl Rain, sounds like a push over. The more I read of her interactions with Alicia and Lamont make me mental gag. Sorry, but that relationship is not realistic and is far too mature for some 17 yr. olds. This said with experience of having my husband's ex-father-law as his best of man at our wedding, or my ex-sister-in-law helping me plan and prepare my wedding. So I understand acceptance, forgive, and forget, but this story... hmmm.
Reality, stop worrying about Lamont's feelings. Forgive but so not forget then it can and most likely will happen again; case in point Alicia and Thomas from jr. high school.
Enough said, this was meant as constructive criticism.

Please please please don't change too much I have been looking for a good YA IR novel to read with a BwWm them. Your story pulled me in from the beginning! I loved Cody's character, even though he was trying to wrap himself in Rain needs and being there for her, he was still very vulnerable too. I Love that! I read this in one setting.. ok ... It was good. Does it need editing maybe but pllllleeesaaaassseee do change the story line or the characters it was good. I even found myself relating to Rain in some areas. I love how you portrayed the insecurity of herself and cause girls go through that. Any how good job.

I enjoyed it, but with reservations, if Rain wasn't made such a doormat, made to be friends with Alicia, who cheated with two of her best friends men and is now pregnant by one, then rain has to stand by her while she is going through this pregnancy, I would have enjoyed it better. Maybe forgive her, but as far as friendship goes, she should of woken up and realized Alicia wasn't her friends, because friends don't do what Alicia did

Alicia never cared for Rain, if she did she wouldn't have done what she did, there was no repercussions for her actions and Rain was made out to be the bad guy, when she was the one hurt. Alicia and Lamont got away with it, and I thought that was wrong.

Though you tried to made us sympathize with Alicia, it never worked with me. She was a selfish slut who cared for no one but herself, she wanted what she wanted. So what she really liked him, all that matters is, that was her so called best friends man and was off limits. Like I said, selfish slut.

The excuse Lamont gave for cheating makes him weak. I think he did it because he is a man-whore and wanted to.

Bailing on Alicia? What does Cody owe Alicia, she is not having his baby. this is making no , I hate that Alicia. Why is she in this story more than Cody?

This is so not fair, Alicia is being treated so nice but rain, the one that has been hurt so many times is being treated like shit. I won't even read Alicia's part anymore, giving birth to rain's ex.

Give me a break. I don't have an ounce of sympathy for Alicia. she messed with her friends man more than once. Her being pregnant changes nothing, and forcing them to be friends again is wrong. Alicia cares for no one but herself.

I don't understand why she has to be a doormat and forgive Alicia and Lamont, you said it wasn't the first time Alicia did this,Now she is forgiving the ass who cheated on her. She is nothing but a doormat here.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. You captured two characters that I will not soon forget. Great story.
