Reviews for Childhood Lies |

![]() ![]() This was really bittersweet, because it reminded me too much of my own life. I'm Carrie, but I couldn't let go of Callie. |
![]() ![]() ![]() You captured the feeling of nostalgia perfectly. People always look back and want things that have long become a thing of the past. They try to recreate the setting, hoping it will make them feel like they did back then,b ut the truth is, you cannot go back in time. You move on, you change, you experience, you live. I really liked it and I'm glad you decided not to have it end with both of them together. Don't get me wrong, I like cute and fluffy love stories, but I feel that real life doesn't always provide those. No with the person you might have imagined to be your other half. Life's full of surprises and rarely can you anticipate anything that's further along down the road. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Heartbreaking. |

![]() ![]() ![]() Aw, that is adorable. I loved it the whole way through. I made me sad, but it was written so incredibly well that all the feelings were pulled off flawlessly. Wonderfully written! |

![]() ![]() This is honestly one of the most touching stories I have ever read. You wouldn't believe how hard I was crying throughout. It breaks my heart, but your story is still brilliant and perfect. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow. ) *tires to think of something smart to say*...*okay, bad idea, i'm not smart in the first place, so -_-;* humm... great story! sad,its only an one shot ._. and sad...callie...couldn't return the feelings _ |
![]() ![]() ![]() That was painful, but so heartfelt. I think it's what a lot of friends might go through. Thank you for sharing it with us. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm not really good with criticism, but some is better than nothing, so bear with me here? I liked the way it was narrated, like the point of view. It's so full of nostalgia, like the way we want things to be when we recall them, and the characters are rather fine. Their pain, it shows. |
