Oookay, so you could've done better than this. I know you wanted this particular end probably but the way your story was going it could've ended in a lot better way. See, She could see the love in Jamison's eyes that he believed that she would save him but she failed him. And there were many ways where they could've got rid of Damien. I mean I like the whole plot of your story but I'm just dissappointed you know. :(

I enjoyed reading this. Although I feel like there was a few things missing, like her powers I felt like were going to be more of a part. Her ability to see what was in someone's heart, good or bad, was that used? And did the original council members join her? They seemed like a big deal, couldn't they have easily picked out damien and finished him? Maybe put a bit more fill between the start and realization that aleera loved jamison. some parts seemed rushed. Don't get me wrong I liked it and think you wrote it well! Constructive criticism!

As Vamp stories on fictionpress goes, this is one of the better ones that I've read. Though as a previous reviewer has said before: it goes too fast at times. For example, the part where she realises that she loves a vamp, when she realises her brother is alive, where her mate dies... the impact is not there when everything speeds by.
Also, it is labeled a tragedy, but i do not feel sad enuff to even feel pity for Aleena. Its probably because you did not dwell on the loss in length. And Aleena seemed to bounce rite back.
This story may have the right ingredients, but with more editing and thought, it could be better.

Normally, I don't go for vampires but I got curious and decided to read yours...AND LOVED IT! I wish there was more but you were fantastic with the ending. Even though this is a fictional story you gave it a realistic ending. Ignore the haters, just do your own thing.

Liked the beginning/prologue where you describe what happened to Aleera's mother. It felt like I was reading a classic, historic vampire novel before twilight happened and vampires actually burned in the sun rather than sparkled, slept in coffins, and were afraid of garlic and the cross symbol.

It was really good... except for killing off Jamison, but the ending was still so exciting so yeah. Good story! :3

Wow, that was... crazy. And yes, I hate you. -_- Though the ending did make this story more realistic. It seemed a bit rushed in certain spots, especially as you got closer to the end. But in a way, that was good because otherwise we would have gotten SUPER attached to Jamison and eh-yeah... our computers would not have survived being thrown against the wall. Anywhoo. This was a very well-written piece of work! So good job! :D

Usually I just wait until I get to the end to review, but I wanted to tell you what a FANTASTIC job you have done with this story. I am totally enthralled, and normally I don't really bother with the vampire fics, but yours has totally reeled me in! Though there is one thing that is really worrying me... your story is labeled tragedy... UGH! A character I love is gonna die, aren't they? D: Noooo... dammit! But I can't stop reading now. Bleck. I have a feeling I'm going to both love and hate you by the end of this. -_-

Noooo why well lets see you could have made an awesome sequel where aleera and jamison go on a search for her mother and maybe not kill off damien and have him find her again but this timme he dies, trying to save or killher either or then end it but either way would have been beter. Didnt like the ending, feel free to use my idea in fact you probably should. Yet still Good story. :)

Overall I liked the story, but I wish that I didn't read the last chapter before the epilouges. I will probably just make up my own ending in my bead. Anyways, I just want to say that this is one of the best supernatural romances I have read on fictionpress.
