   elephant121 chapter 1 . 7/26/2006 Very good chapter! I will definately keep reading. I found just a few mistakes that I thought I'd let you know about. - "I sighed, grabbing my duffel bag... I sighed, pulling on a pair of jeans... I sighed, slinging my bag over my shoulder..." I believe you said sighed three times in that paragraph, you might want to change one of those to groaned or a different word just to make the paragraph flow more. - "Mr. Jacobs frowned at ,y, then..." I'm not sure what "y" was supposed to be, maybe me? - You had a few "raised eyebrows" in this chapter. If that was intentional, then that's fine. But if you weren't aware, I thought I would let you know. - There was one other part where you put "was" instead of "saw" but I'm sorry, I can't find that sentence right now. Anyways, good chapter and I'll definately stick around to read some more. Update soon :-) |
