| Carmel March chapter 11 . 6/22/2007 This is a truly wonderful story. Your descriptions are fantastic, even the subtle ones, and let the reader see into the world you've created. I like the way you use dialogue; it's realistic and flows naturally. And the storyline is creative, keeps the reader interested throughout the entire read. Like I said, truly wonderful. | Mercurial Weather chapter 8 . 7/23/2006 Love the idea of outsiders sensing each other threading parallel paths.I really enjoyed the crisp down to earth language. Rhythm-wise I'm more upbeat but I understand the difficulty of overcoming the trade off between allowing people to care for the character or care for the fast moving plot. You've manage to make me care for Sara, and I wonder where are you taking 's with the ever present knapsack? Plus in Ch.4 there is a struggle with/with its strap, error or is that recurring knapsack a handful just like its owner? Anyway kudos you've been my first around this block and you've done me well. I'll make sure to keep an eye on you. |
