| RhythmOfMySoul chapter 4 . 9/7/2006 Good, but as I said earlier, the interesting stuff kind of tapers off towards the end. ending with a cliffhanger can help that, that way people are out of their seats like, "WHOAH, what's going to happen next?" you know? it feels like as you're bringing the chapter to a close you're bringing the WHOLE story to a close, like, instead of having some conflict or SOMETHING that continues into the next chapter so that it doesn't feel closed, you just end the chapter...i don't know how to explain it... |
