Hmm... I guess this really shows some things in life, you know?
Like, the playground is generally known as a place where you can find laughter, innocence. But society has a way of stripping these away from many things, huh?
Great poem. Really strong.

Dag, yo. That was heavy.
I just got all sad thinking about the playground I played in as a child infested with drug dealers-because I am a dork :-p
It was good. The timing was a off on some of the lines (syllable-wise), but topic/rhymes were spot-on.

The poem has a very nice set up into what the poem is really about. I don't know if you meant it to be like this but the way I took it, looking for symbolism, is how the playground which is seen as a safe haven for youth to play in, is taken over by drugs and crime which represent how quicker the youth are being corrupted. How what was once an adult problem now affects the youth as well.
