Reviews for Daisy |

![]() ![]() ![]() Ah, cute. I know it's not quite the reaction you were expecting, but I can see this little girl in my head, not quite knowing what love is, picking petals off a daisy while reciting. She doesn't know what it means, not really, but she's still devastated when she gets to the last petal, because she's been told that love is something big, something beautiful, something important, and now she's being denied this fairytale ending that she's read about, seen in films, heard her mother talk about. It's a lot. Especially at 11. All this to say that I liked it. Truly. |
![]() ![]() ![]() It's so simple yet amazing. I'm sure any girl can relate to this poem and that's what I love about it. I am so favoring this RIGHT NOW ] |
![]() ![]() ![]() This poem makes me imagine a teenage girl thinking about someone who's never noticed her before. The symbolism of the flower petals really gets the meaning across well. Definitely another fav. -Ramen |
