That sounds so cool...I'm not trendy or neon...or black, but I'm glad I have friends who find joy in how cynical I am...and can ease my paranoia. They thank me for brightening their lives, I thank them for EVERYTHING.
| Flies chapter 1 . 9/4/2006
This honestly reminded me of different people/groups of people I know. I love the way it's written, with the paranthesis almost as essential side notes. My favorite line has to be "we're the kids who dress in black and neon", it's just a good way of saying stand out, without saying or even really implying it. This is one of my favorites from you I think, very good job on it!
| ash the arsnist chapter 1 . 8/25/2006
interesting read, ive never heard of taping lunch money to the top of your locker, though i must say it seems smart, i laughed at the irony in the third stanza, && the fifth stanza was nicely worded in its entirety
| The Melancholy Cocoa Bean chapter 1 . 8/5/2006
wow, this is really dark and i love the format - 'we are the kids who bring in extra lunch money' - really haunting line for some reason - well done and keep it up :]
