Reviews for constellation construed
no.peace.los.angeles chapter 1 . 9/11/2006
Okay, I love the subject of this poem, first of all. Poems about stars and constellations and supernovas and all that space stuff love. The way you write is so mystical, everything just flows so beautifully, and it's like being in a dream. Gorgeous. My only problem with this poem is the use of "skin" so closely together in the second stanza (lines 1 & 4). Other than that, a wonderful poem. Keep writing! :)

Halcyon Impulsion chapter 1 . 8/13/2006
What an incredible piece of work. It actually brought tears to my eyes... which I realize sounds a little silly maybe. So much emotion though, and this really rings true for the place I am right now. I ADORE people with the guts and foresight to start a poem with the word "and". It always draws me immediately and wraps me in the story. The word "thrumming" - delicious. Adding to favorites; you and it.

I reviewed this already, but I really have to thank you for your review on Chrysathemum, it was so long, and it really meant a lot to me that you took the time to read it and especially that you seem to have appreciated it! I was not too happy with it, but it is the closest I've come to writing something I actually liked in a long time. As for the music tip, well, I am a music addict as well and I think we have pretty much the same taste :-p I am completely hooked on Death Cab for Cutie now, and this is quite pointless as reviews go, but I really wanted to thank you. And please keep writing, you are so unbelievably talented. I just read this again, and light simply seeps from every word...so much feeling! Love, Mia

I swear I'm getting jealous, lol, I've lost the ability to write anything remotely good and you just keep getting better and better...it's just so beautiful...being allowed to shine? That's my interpretation...or illumination, whatever, your choice of words is extraordinary, one feels like one's floating in space among lights and beauty :-). Fantastic! Love, Mia
