![]() ![]() ![]() i really like what your doing and in your writings you are preaching the gosple which jesus wants us to do. but i could help but notice that you said the man that went to cuhurch on sunday. you see i am a seven day advantist. you should look it up. a few CRAZY prople will say were a cult but were NOT. there are many places in the bible that SAY the sabbath is on SATURDAY. in the ten commandments it says for 6 days god did all his work but the seventh day he rested and blessed it. YOU will probibly disregard this review but i really hope you dont.:) |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was exactly what I needed to hear right now. I love the frankness and the originality. Thanks for putting it up! |
![]() ![]() I read your story "357 Things I am not allowed to do" and loved it. I was looking for other stories you've written, cause that one was, like, awesome, and I came across these Bible studies. Dude, you rock. It really takes guts to wear your faith on your sleeve. You definitely have talent when it comes to writing stories. And you have a heart for God. You inspire me. I will definitely be reading more of your stories. I was amazed at how you wrote a story that long about two girls living at a all boys school and still kept it clean. I really appreciate that, cause it's not something you see a lot of anymore. Keep going with writing the Bible studies. You are really good at making them real and applicable. You could however work on your typing and spell-checking skills. But overall, good job. You are truly blessed. Don't give up. God bless, Dzulya |

![]() ![]() ![]() i love how you incorporate realistic imagery and insights with biblical topics. its really great to see someone writing things like this up here on FP. ive got a question though. this may seem kinda dumb and everything but, how do you do it? okay, ill elaborate. im a Christian myself and I try to do my daily Bible study and everything but i dont really ever understand what im doing. or what im looking for. so basically, how did you get to the point when you said okay this is what im doing. maybe this question is completely confusing but id just like to know. [if you're able to answer it.] |
![]() ![]() ![]() I am very enthralled by what you are creating here with these in-depth bible readings. You have been blessed with a gift from the Holy Spirit to relate passages to the people. Have you ever considered going into the ministry? Speaking of, I'd be interested to know your views on women in the ministry. Perhaps a new topic for you to delve into? |
![]() ![]() Hey, i like this... Im a Christian too, and i respect you for your willingness to share with others through FP. |
![]() ![]() I used to think that Jesus let them into the pigs out of mercy, but my pastor told me otherwise. He told us that the pigs were used as sacrifices to a pagan god in a temple in the city, so jesus allowed the pigs to be drowned so that the people will not have anything to sacrifice ...which is why they begged jesus to leave their town. because normally you would welcome someone who just fixed up the town's demon-possessed dude, but they didn't, and I guess that's the reason why. God I love how you incorporate humor and bibical facts. Keep up the good work! - Viv |
![]() ![]() Without the basics, there's really no foundation to what we say. Our lives have to be more than talking, we have to act according to it. And as nicely as possible, tell people the truth. But there are some things that can't really be put nicely. We need to know when to be soft and when to be harsh. |
![]() ![]() ![]() It's wonderful to know we have a loving Father who takes as back, no matter how much we don't deserve it. ) |
![]() ![]() yeah! you're the first one EVER to make me understand the story of martha and mary (i'd always stand for martha before!) continue writing, it's amazing! |
![]() ![]() Call Kim and make sure Ben's ok. Yesterday 2 ex-Judson students were killed in Northhampton (where Ben lives) and I wanted to make sure he was ok. The kids were shot in the neck and left in a two-story house. The house was then burned. CALL AND MAKE SURE THEY'RE OK! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I might be an agnostic, but I'm interested in religion of all sorts. So, here's a review. 1)"So you can imagine Andy's surprise when John suddenly stopped talking and pointed to an average-looking, probably dirty, traveler." Every holy text I know spends a lot of time focusing on mysteries and miracles and men surrounded by holiness. You took all of that and put it in a very realistic setting. I think that makes it more believable. 2)"Basically he said, 'Hey, do you mind if we hang out with you for a while?'" Again, I like the way you took ancient prose and put it in a much more contemporary light. It's easier to identify with a religion when it relates to your everyday life. 3)"We hear about Pete all the tim" Um, you're missing an 'e' there. 4) I was never raised with any particular religion (a bit of buddhism, a bit of christianty, greek myth, etc), so it's kind of interesting to hear some of these accounts for the first time. Especially with the original story and the more contemporary retelling side-by-side. I could read a few more of these. |
![]() ![]() ![]() i think it's cool how you make bible studies, great idea. Keep it up! |
