This story is just so amazing and no words can explain the sincerity and the deep emotions that run through this. You've put a lot of passion in this story and FP needs more work like this. I liked this story even though it's written like the writer was going through a haze. :-)

My heart really starts to hurt when I read this... I find it so immensely tragic and unbelieveable to have finally found who you thought was the love of your life, only to have realized that you had imagained him all along. By, gosh that really pulls on my heart strings. I cannot even begin to tell you... *sighs* Ok. Anyways, I absolutely loved the beginning. I thought it was the perfect opening to start West's story to make readers pique with curiosity at the beautiful yet mysterious stranger who he always sets his eyes on. And just by reading that first opening sentence, I was completely drawn into the story all the way. Honestly, I wasn't expecting Alexander to be just a figment of his imagination, and I really wish he wasn't because I really liked his character. But this development - although very saddening - only furthers my interest in the story. Wow, I can't wait to see what happens next! And hopefully Alexander comes back into West's life.

Sigh. This story is beautiful.

And just like probably every other reader, I desperately wish and hope that Alexander was...is real.
