Aww. That was a really sweet story, I love it

Seriously, I cried by the end.

I really liked your story, except for the fact that you sorta rushed it, short and sweet though is perfectly okay. I think an reason for elizabeth's behaviour would've been better, like when she confessed to rose marie, she could've said "I was tired of chasing him when all he wanted was you, and i guess three years is punishment enough for setting up joseph with brielle." All in all, pretty good. I love how they both don;t speak the same language.

Other than that, this is a great story. The attitudes of the characters are much like that of people their age in real life-but I have to wonder, is the boat they're on the Fair Winds? It sounds as though they are (I actually live in Hawaii, so I like to think I know these things XD). If so, then you're doing a good job of passive, generic description.

omg. lol. at first i was like olivier? wtf is that? and then i remembered my friend's french name in french class(we have to pick different names in class for some reason. My real name is whitney but in french i'm called alice. if you dont write that name in on papers it gets thrown away) is olivier. XD everyone but the teacher calls him olive oil instead though.

The communication idea was awesome and although the ending was a tad cheesy, I liked it. Nice job :)

It's only the first chapter and I already adore Tana and Rose. You definitely had me hooked. The only thing that bugged me a bit was Olivier's section. It was informative but also a little boring. I still can't wait to find out more though! :)

the summary was enough for me to go till the end... good one... :)

I'm rather enjoying readin this story! It's just the right amount of funny and your words seem to flow. I love how Olivier argues with himself, it reminds me of my French professor who defends his eccentricities by saying he's French!
