In my opinion, this is a poem that offers another, less obvious perspective about the effects of war. There is no "winning". We all lose something.
"Their lives wrenched from their graspTheir history erased
That is a very powerful statement.
The repitition (affirmation) of "Life is all we have left" points to hope and future in spite of loss. Great work!

i liek this a lot, it's kind of questioning what the victory is exactly, something i do myself, the line "but we've become part of something else; And it will never end..." how very true, never ending war for never ending freedom, scary, but true, great work on this, it certainly has me thinking, thank you for sharing
