this is off the wall, but i like the way you have the author's note after the poem. sometimes, it's nice to have a sense that a person who can create such beautiful poetry is also just a human like all of us, with things like school and crushes and happy little coincidences. :]

and in the haiku itself, for some reason, i really like the description 'blind circles.'

This is so pretty. It reminds me of origami. I love the little details of this, the "paper wings," especially. And I had a situation like that in high school, too, where I had a class with this guy I liked, and we always ended up in the same group every time we did group work, and no two other people ended up in the same group every time. It was odd. But yes, beautiful poem, and I hope things work out with the guy! Keep writing! :)

you make me happy with your haikus. like how that people can interpret the haiku from different perspectives, but what i like even more is that it's a personal experience (sort of) and that you have a little background story of why you wrote this, or what it "means to you."
