Oh my god I simply love this story.

I'm pretty sure that you won't ever finish it - I just wanted to tell you this. That Meg's voice was calming, somehow, even when she thought back to the bad things that happened. Or how you made Kenneth such a genuinely nice person, even as the alpha guy, or how you made me kinda fall in crush with Lee because I want to know what's going on inside his head.
And don't get me started on all the other amazing characters that seem to have so much human depth despite Meg sometimes saying otherwise, or despite not really seeing any action with them (like Charlie or Kenny's brother).

Really, I just wanted to say: Thank you for sharing this beautiful story with us :)

How delightful - love your stories, they are just awesome!

So I just wanted to let you know how ridiculously much I enjoy this story. It's just so captivating in its seemingly simplicity. The story and characters are very realistic, and I find myself dying to learn more about them, like the history between Meg and her brother. Meg herself is really likeable, she's very cool and witty in that subtle way of hers. And of course, I love Lee and his whole mystique. I enjoy their interaction the slow buildup between them. I also like all the supporting characters, and the dynamic of the group as a whole is really interesting.

I check for updates on this story almost everyday, it's rather pathetic, but just proof of my desperation to read more! I understand real life often gets in the way of writing, but I hope you get a chance to update soon. Until then, I'll keep checking and rereading! :)

Interesting that this story is so much more grown-up than This Storm. Also, I'm wondering about the title thing. In This Storm, I wasn't really sure how the story was ever related to the title, except maybe when you called Zack a hurricane.

I like this story better in the way the POV seems more consistent - in the other one, the voices seemed a little unclear because their narrations were all so similar. And I prefer the slower unfolding of the background. It really works, especially with characters who seem much more private.

i like lee. i think i said that before, but yes i do. haha. and i like mel and sandy for setting them up in the coffee shop. that's so cute. though i hope that never happens to me. haha

hmm... lee... he seems like a nice enough guy. seems like he's one for observing others and their behaviors. like someone who's trying to figure people out. wonder why?

This is a wonderfully paced story and I must thank you for giving me the pleasure of reading such an awesome story! ;)

Oh, I must also tell you that I listened to David Archuleta's, "Crush," while reading the last six chapters...on repeat. ;) I don't know why I did that, but I did. :)

Well done! I'm so glad you're continuing to update this story since the characters are wonderful and while the chapters are sometimes few and far between, they are nice and long and therefore worth the wait!

This was a cute chapter. I wish I knew someone like Lee, haha. I'm not very fond of Meg though.. I don't know why yet.. but eh, maybe I'll start liking her later..
