Kamara chapter 14 . 3/4/2007 To get to the point, I normally don't bother to leave reviews unless I thought the story was done very well. I'm not that good with complements, but your storyline was brilliant and I love how you portrayed your characters. Also, having Jason end up with someone different than Skye was wonderful. -Kamara (In case this thing doesn't show my email, it's Email me if you want.) |
Kizuna chapter 14 . 3/2/2007 I LOVED THIS STORY! Absolutely loves it! It's so freaking good I don't even have words for it!_ I'm just gonna put it on my fav. list!_ Very good work with it!_ |
Melinda chapter 14 . 2/17/2007 Aw! That was really sweet :). But the title is pretty misleading, y'know? But, it was really really wonderful. I loved it how the characters all had a past, in one way or another. It made them seem so real! Great job :). |
ddz008 chapter 14 . 2/15/2007 Wonderful story, when I read that the title of the story didn't mean anything I felt so happy, I already loved Simon. I'm so glad they ended together, it was really sweet! :) Lovely ending! Thanks for sharing this story with us! |
ddz008 chapter 11 . 2/15/2007 Great story! :) I was going to review until I finished the chapters you had already wrote... but I just had to say that at this moment I like Simon, he is being really sweet and he is in love with him, right? I don't even expect that he is going to end with Jason because well the story is named after all Skye XD I like Skye but I don't know if he likes Jason or if he will in later chapters. I just hope that Simon doesn't suffer too much. I'm going to continue reading XD |
D. Empress chapter 14 . 2/8/2007 *insert gibberish here* |
Tin Whistle chapter 14 . 1/30/2007 Oh, I so love this story. And I love Simon, and how naturally his and Jason's relationship develops. You've really managed to keep me interested from chapter one to fourteen, which isn't bad considering the length of the story. |
Chillkroete chapter 14 . 1/22/2007 Hi there :) I'm so happy that I found this extra-ordinary story. It was great fun reading it. I loved all the characters - without exception - but especially Jason. I think that's because I was sometimes reminded of myself when I read your description of him. I was just a bit disappointed that Jason and Skye didn't get together in the end. May I ask if that was the plan right from the beginning or was it something that developed with time (and reviews possibly)? Anyway, great work. Ines |
ShadowGal chapter 14 . 1/18/2007 Yay! *cheers* The ending couple pleases me very much, even if I am sad to see the story end. Anyways, great job all around. You have a lot of talent; keep up the good work! |
ShadowGal chapter 8 . 1/18/2007 Aww. I love Graham like crazy now. *hugs him* |
ShadowGal chapter 4 . 1/18/2007 First off: the story's good so far. I read the first two chapters a long time ago, then lost the link and apparently never came back. At least now I don't have to wait for new chapters to come out, though! *purrs* Anyways. About borrowed and blue's concern about Jason's reaction to being gay being to easy or unrealistic or whatever... I don't agree. I'm sure a lot more angst occurred, say, ten years ago. But now, even though I live in Texas, middle of the Bible Belt, myself and a lot of my other gay friends came to the "I'm gay. Huh." realization pretty easily, and stressed about what people might do, but not about how we actually felt. The only complaints I have for this chapter are two minor typos at the end. “Why don’t we have a karaoke party why daddy cooks?” It should be 'while' rather than 'why'. "Even Lizzie, who seemed unusually serious most of the time, smile happily..." It should be 'smiled' rather than 'smile'. But all in all, nice chapter! |
1asbn chapter 14 . 1/16/2007 I just finished reading your story (I read it all in one go), and can't tell you how fuzzy and warm it made me feel! When I started reading it, I thought it was going to be one of those 'coming-out' romances between friends, but enter Simon and I knew from that very first scene in the bathroom, that he was in love with Jason, and that I wouldn't stand it if he ended up with Skye. Needless to say, the ending left me very, happy! I really love the depth you gave Jason's character, his way of thinking and his mannerisms remained consistent throughout the story, and that he acted like how a teenage boy with a problematic family life would act in the wake of emerging hormones, sexual indentity confusion etc. Also, even though we don't get to see the point of view of other characters, you managed with simple descriptions to give a good insight to their personalities (for e.g. Graham). And I absolutely loved Simon, from his smirk/smile, to his black-varnished nails. An amazing character, makes me almost wish he were real _ Your writing was very good, and you managed to make the racier scenes fresh and not contrite at all, something that's lacking in slash fiction. I really loved this story, it left me with a smile on my face! Keep up the good work! |
Rachizzle chapter 14 . 1/7/2007 I really loved this story and I loved how it end it... great job. . |
Elianah chapter 14 . 1/6/2007 This story was just so upredictable! It was just so great to read , to find out what's going to happen next. I love it! And I'm really happy Jason ended up with Simon, even though Skye was cool too. It just made the story unique. |
Isidris Gry chapter 14 . 1/5/2007 Wow- I really hate to say this, but I'm so disapointed Jason ended up with Simon! Sorry! I was just such a Skye/Jason shipper. And I hate Simon. Guess that's pretty mean, but before I figured that out, you're story was great! You write well, and you don't make loads of grammar mistakes, and you can really twist the story and throw in a last suprise! I'm just so bitter over the pairings...sorry. I'll try to get over it. |
