Something Corporate rocks! Hehe.. Anyway, unlike the Latte at First Sight, this had a sad ending. :( But it was still good. In fact, I think this is one of the best oneshots I've read in fp. The emotions were so strong. She didn't finish saying 'I love-you' [Or at least, I think it's 'I love you' she was about to say] and that really made it more sad and intense. "Seriously, the worst thing that can happen to you is the person you love dying and you never got to tell him/her how you feel about him/her." :)

... Or heroine, if you want to get technical. P And now I feel completely demoralized because I'm Chinese too, and there's absolutely no way I'll ever be able to write half as well. Meh.

Anyways. This is really good, considering the length you've managed to put in a whole lot of emotion. It was genuine and so so sad.. Especially at the end, when she tries to tell him, and dies. -sniff- You're amazing, this is really, really good.

Oh how infuriating, fantabulous but the No! was quite funny cos u can just imagine it when people say it in a funny way but it was a really good and great imagery was used especially the bit with the teardrop at the end. - Alyssa

Judging from the summary, I already was wary of what was going to happen. I usually don't read these type of stories because I know it's going to be a sad ending and I'm going to cry, but I did it anyways.

And now, I'm crying.

Shame on me, I know. I should be finishing up my homework, but I'm reading this piece instead.

This piece is very emotionally moving. I like how it was structured and the song excerts were expertly chosen. Although it's not a long story leading to this ending, the scenes were executed very well and so I had no weird feelings as if the story wasn't fully given. So congratulations on that!

Aww... poor Shane. He didn't get to say it. It breaks my heart. It really does. And Sherry... she didn't even get the chance to finish saying it. T-T

Well, FYI, if you ever want, you should consider having this made into a movie or something. Like those Korean Soaps. Seriously, it would totally make it.

That really was sad. Maybe a tad to dramatic for my tastes especially the "NO!" part. It always makes me laugh. I don't know why but it does. I like the way it was written though. It was nicely described and it flowed pretty well - which is pretty much all I can say.

Extremely deep and well written. You are very good with details and emotions. This was a heartbreaking piece and one of your personal best. Keep up the great work.

It was kinda irrational like a cartoon show. It's one of those hard things about short stories, I guess, that you get less time to develop characters. It would make a good cartoon show, I suppose. It was OK.

but i like it.

i really liked this story. it had a lot of surprising emotion in it for a one shot. Personally, i find it very believable that he could still remember her back from his old high school days, especially since its obvious that they both had a big impact on one another. i just really wish they would have gotten a chance to meet and talk a bit more at least, i actually counted, and i think shane says a total of 28 words to her, one of which was the original sorry, and the other twenty seven when he's trying to talk to her as she's dying. and in return, she only says 21 words to him. all in all, it was a lovely story, the only thing i think was a bit overdone was the ending where shane screams this long winded no. other than that, great story, and i wish we could have seen more of these two.

o, that was so sad. Poor Shane... waiting all those years and not even being able to tell her he loved her...
