anyalm chapter 11 . 11/6/2007 Hmm...Cassie's Charles isn't so innocent...and Connor is...what? Looking out for her *Welfare*? Doubtful. It is amazing to me that Cassie is so...enticing...that both Connor and Charles have deep feelings for her, even though these days that thing is sort of...Taboo...and even more so that Charles, who seems far less violent that Connor, would be so quick to murder those who seek to hurt his sister, and who stand in his way of her-but yet he signs himself away? I hope all loose ends will be tied up in the next chapter of this fabulous, chilling story. Peaches, Anya |
mlovektowsing chapter 11 . 11/6/2007 You're right. I do understand the story more. Now I know how mush it really sucks to be Cassie. I hope to see another update soon! MK |
Anonymous chapter 11 . 11/6/2007 Medea actually killed her two sons, because her husband Jason (from Jason and the Argonauts), cheated on her and left her for a young princess. She thought that killing their sons and Jason's new wife, Jason will be devastated as he would not be able to continue his bloodline. |
Paraphernalia chapter 11 . 11/6/2007 I do understand the ambiguity keeps the story all the more enticing. I'm fascinated by this story and I'm glad to see that Charlie is truly a selfish bastard to some extent. It makes you realize that he's not the golden brother for Cassie. I like Connor because he's so imperfect and vile. Great chapter! D |
luv me like no other chapter 11 . 11/6/2007 whoa, intense-ness! I liked the little explanation at the end. I didn't know that Charles killed Tick, poor kitty. |
FLGMadisonW chapter 11 . 11/6/2007 Wow that did clear things up. I think we've seen Cassie grow as a character so much over just a few chapters. I can't wait to see her finally overcome all of this, or at least vow to put it behind her and begin her recovery. Through all of this, does Charles really want what is best for Cassie? He's put her first a lot, but is it really for HER or did he think that it would help him in his climb to the top? I really don't know how I feel about Charles. He reminds me of the character of Colin, from Keeping Faith, by Jodi Picoult. He had his wife institutionalized after she became depressed when he cheated on her. He didn't want to have to deal with her, and he didn't want to watch her continue to fall. The situation between Charles and Cassie is different, obviously, but the similarities are there. Charles obviously loves Cassie very much, but does he love the position he's about to have even more is the question I'm asking myself. Maybe I'm reading too much into the "poorly concealed jubilation" that Charles had in his voice, but I haven't decided whether he's the good guy or the bad guy. Charles and Colin both wanted to do what was best for the people that they loved, but I don't know necessarily if Charles sees that he's the one who caused it. I think I'm thinking about this all too much. Also, just as a side note, it's amazing how much of an impact Cassie's vision of Connor has on her, what a hold his memory is for her. |
Bob n Kazzi chapter 11 . 11/6/2007 And it all starts to click. Do Conner, Charles and Cassie all have the same mother? |
pfeiffer chapter 11 . 11/6/2007 you really are quite something... how you managed to write something romantic that lets me out a few squeels and giggles to writing something dark and sinister as eidolon is beyond me... as usual i bow down to your skills... i'm looking forward to how this story ends... |
miss-life chapter 11 . 11/6/2007 :D This is such a great story, completely different from all those romance stories! I must say I quite enjoy reading this! And I can hardly wait for the last two chapters / I want to see how this end! _Tina_ |
tnguyen chapter 10 . 11/5/2007 I'm still a wee bit confused. So, Connor raped Cass right? And then, Charles killed Connor. Kenneth and B-guy knows, but doesn't want to tell. Is Charles in love with Cassie? I mean, have they committed (fully) incest. Isn't that also part of the reason why Cassie is sort of messed up? Hmm...things to ponder about... |
XxFallenxX chapter 10 . 11/3/2007 Read it over again. Updation? (That's not a word. I think.) |
Moonlight Density chapter 10 . 10/27/2007 This is scary . Lmao. o.O I suspect this will have no happy ending? *sighs* That family is pyscho ish ] |
tenna shut up chapter 10 . 10/26/2007 Eidolon is also very draining to read. hahahaha Its like an overload of disturbing and twisted but then since disturbing is all there is, its not even just that anymore... All the Greek Myth allusions make me think of eidolon as some sort of modern greek tragedy...haha I really think its pretty...in the warp-est, most positive way pretty can mean._ -ettenna |
FLGMadisonW chapter 10 . 10/16/2007 Bahh maybe I'm silly and can't follow (I may have to sit and read the entire story at once again), but I am just SO confused. I'm going to read this all again and let you know if I can follow it better. |
Unbirthday chapter 10 . 10/15/2007 The one part I am confused is about Mr. Wyman's death. It wasn't natural? In this chapter, Cassie seemed to imply that Charles also had something to do with his death. I did enjoy seeing Cassie speak for herself, for once. But I was disappointed that she forgave, or gave the impression that she forgave, Charles so easily and readily at the end of the chapter. Shouldn't she let him know how she felt? I'm excited for the ending! And I'm glad you didn't forget this story! |
