As for Cass, I love that she's finally aware of what's happening around her and she's becoming more independant. My prediction for the end: She'll end up killing Charles. But hey, I might be wrong. |
| for keeps chapter 10 . 10/13/2007 There are so many stories on fictionpress that I've just... lost interest in. I have an amazingly short attention span and most of the time after a month of no update I say, "Eh, wasn't that good anyway.". The fact that this story has kept me gripped throughout says a lot about the quality! I liked this chapter, Connor is scary, but somehow I'm just as afraid of Charles. The ending was striking, and your wording of the entire thing was lovely and chilling. I love the way you write Cass, she's so completely insane, but she's still a believable character, and her train of thought doesn't seem unnatural. Wonderful chapter, looking forward to more. |
