Wow, that was very...morbid. The story of someone who wasn't strong enough to move on, and it's realistic. This was a refreshing read.

I've been meaning to read this for the past, oh I don't know, 4 months or so. I think I've read the first chapter about four times.

Eventually I just skipped ahead to like the 3rd or 4th chapter and read that. I knew that no matter what kind of story it was that it'd be good, so I just made myself read through the first few chapters. The reason I didn't read it sooner is because I just got this weird vibe from the first chapter and I just wasn't in the mood for a serious and possibly sad story, so don't think it had anything to do with your writing. haha.

I don't even know how to describe this story. It was probably the most real and depressing story I've ever read. I'm so glad that you decided to write something like this, but also that you portrayed it in a such real and sense-making way. haha. I think that the way Cassie reacted to being raped is believable because many girls would act similarly. Maybe not to the same extent, but once I finally understood everything that happened to her, it just made sense that she would have that kind of relationship with Charles and that she acted so dependent on him. A lot of people attempt to write rape stories and they just...leave a lot to be desired. I can honestly say yours didn't.

Hmm.I couldn't decide if I liked this or not for the first few chapters,but I don't think I could have stopped reading it,even if I didn't-which I was eerie,powerful,dramatic,thought-provoking,perverted-one of your best works,I believe ;) This was very interesting,and extraordinarily well written-you captured Cass's mindset in what I feel is a perfectly realistic fashion,and I don't think you could have done a better job if you were certifiably insane yourself.

I thought your story was well-written and more interesting than a lot of the cliched garbage on this site. It was great how you told the story from the "crazy girl's" POV and made her reasoning sort of sound sane in a way in addition to insane. Disturbing but enjoyable read!

this story is wonderful. it's put together perfectly and it's one of the most professional stories on fiction press. your a great writer and they way you kept the three oldest woven together (and gave the explination of after connor died they were incomplete) was ingenious. i look forward to reading other stories from you.

This story is one of the best I've ever read here on fictionpress. It's dark and almost disturbing, but still beautiful. Job WELL done.

Wow. That was a really...different piece. I usually don't go for these. I'm more of a happy ending type, but I can honestly say that I loved this. It gave me chills, but it was incredibly well written. I really love the planning and complexity that you so artfully weave into your stories. You should think about getting some of these published someday. This story was disturbing, but definitely in a good way, and I loved the way it ended. Seriously, keep writing. You have a gift.
