I can't decide if I enjoy the ending or not. I knew this wouldn't exactly have a "happy ending", but this story has been so draining that I kind of expected to not be so drained at the end, but it feels like this last chapter is the most draining of all. I did get to see how deluded Cassie is. She really doesn't realize she's killed Charles? Even under the pretense that she thought she was getting rid of Connor? I am glad that you finally posted this chapter. Despite the drain, I do feel that the story is complete. Congratulations on completing this story! I've definitely enjoyed your more serious writing!

I applaud you. Writing insane chapter after insane chapter must have been challenging.

I'm definitely sure that I've never read a story like this in my life. First and foremost, it was really good. Secondly, it was kind of...not scary, but chilling and disturbing and I think that with Cassie's narration, you've been able to capture it well.

Very powerful. The fact that Cassie doesn't believe that she killed Charles is very tragic, and the ending is so sad in that she is left to basically rot in her mental institution. What a life.

The last line is very moving. I applaud you in writing something so unconventional and twisted and making it so exceptional.

Disconcerting. Original, I only expected the ending to be somehow stronger, maybe ending with her screaming or something;] Anyway, it was an interesting story to read. Good point about the princesses that dont get rescued;]

And could she really kill Charles? I mean, she's been so phsycially dependent on him for so long, could she possibly have the physical stregth to do it?

I wasn't expecting that. Oh, I don't know why I wasn't, but I wasn't expecting that. Oh, how this story make me feel...the feeling is inexplicable.

Wow, I've always liked your stories but this one is so unlike the others that it's just...indescribable. It's really quite shocking to see such vividly tormented characters. Hopefully this will end in a slightly lighter and happier tone, but of course that's just wishful thinking.
