I laughed at the last line... I think I've finally figured out what it is about your writing style I like so much. It's the description. Lines like that last one (or the one a few chapters ago where you wrote something about Kivixl "killing sunlight").

I didn't know Schaff did surprise parties. He seems more "human" (there has got to be a better word) the more we learn about him.

Aha! So we see Besteth. And we learn something mildly disturbing about the Council. BUT why does Naev hate Besteth? Because it looks like only Besteth has a right to be angry. Unless, he's lying or Naev's just mad at what Besteth COULD do. I dunno. We shall see I guess. Haha. Naev presiding a wedding. With music filling the air and pink flowers raining down on them and peacocks. Oh yes. Very Naeven. Ha. I bet Besteth will marry them. Oh! Before I forget, how do you pick your names? They're really, really great.

Naeven raped. Huh. Well, that actually makes a lot of sense to the way he treats Lark. Surprisingly enough. But with the knowledge of the rape, it makes his time with Lady Sactaren even sadder. So, yeah, I think I wholeheartedly agree eith you on the 'if she as real, I'd kill her' thing.

If I put it like this...Holy Maele! Gods, a week without this? Last week I was itching in my seat when I know that your next installment will be available. Imagine me whining, wriggling like a worm there with multitudes of classmates and my prof? It's pathetic, I know, but that did not prevent me from going into almost breakdown.

I know I should feel sorrier for Lark, since it was so hard for him and all, but I don't. I mean, yes, I do pity him a bit, but I'm glad that Sactaren did what he did more than I usually would.

I'm also happy for that insight to the past about Sactaren. His reaction makes more sense now, in that part in previous chapters when Lark said something to the effect of, "I don't want to hurt you."

I'm sorry I haven't reviewed, I've been really busy working, trying to get money for another student ambassador trip this summer.

Anyway, this chapter was awesome. We really get to see the relationship between these two develop, don't we? Lark is certainly becoming more aggressive. And Naeven is letting his submissive (ish) side show throw.

I dunno but I didn't really like this chapter. It seemed I dunno like Sac (sorry gotta call him that to hard to figure out how to spell) was opening up too fast or what but he was soo out of character and for a minute I could have sword he was going to tell Lark he loved him like right here.

"Just ... let me hold you while you're falling apart, let me show you how much I- How much I want to help you."

Is it just me or what? But it was kinda cute too when Sac was holding Lark. Well not really holding more like coppin a feel. *giggles*

I laughed for a couple minutes. which caught me some odd looks for my co-workers when I read how Sac had to recover from being with her ladyship. Goodness what a wife. Could you imagine what a bitch should would be pregnant? I mean she's horrible now. She'd go around busting their balls for real instead of just getting their pride.

I think that Sac almost seems to have some self esteem problems because of the emotional, physical, mental abuse from that crazy, evil wife of his.

But I can't wait to see what you have planned next for these two.
