Hah! I love that thing that Sactaren did at the end, almost falling off the bed like that. I agree with Lark in that respect-it's endearing, but not scary. (Scary being the best word I can come up with at this time, but that's not what I mean. I just can't remember what the word I want to use is. You ever have that?)

Sorry for not reviewing earlier. I started reading this at school, and then had to get off when I realized the librarian was coming over, and then when I got home I forgot about it. And then I thought I'd already finished and reviewed it.

Obviously, I hadn't done either, and it's taken me this long to remember. ()

I just reread (skimmed, actually) the chapter. I didn't notice this before...

"'What?' I ask. He has that need in his face again, that scary, desperate need.

'Please,' he whispers, and now I see fear in his eyes as well, 'please, Lark, I want you inside me.'"

The part I didn't notice is the part about Sactaren being afraid. Exactly what is he afraid of? That Lark will run away again? Or is this related to his insecurity? Or does this have something to do with what Sactaren was going to tell him before he was interrupted last chapter?

Point being... it would be totally awesome if we could get an explanation. This story is a little bit like Lost (dunno if you watch that show)... the more we learn, the more we don't know. It's great and frustrating at the same time.

Wow. I absolutely love this story. I've been following it for a while now, and I just love it! I laughed sso hard when Naeven accidentally knelt on his hair! LOL! Anyway, I love the imagery and the way the story is put together. I will definitely continue to read and pester the author with reviews and/or e-mails!

I love this chapter for more than just the simple fact that they finally got some action. I like the way that you portrayed Lark- that he had some freak out moments and still isn't fully comfortable with intimacy. Naeven was amazing, too. The line about his humanity being as attractive as his seduction was genius! And he kneeled on his hair! And the pillows! Okay, I just love the entire end of the chapter!

And the scene with Khas trying to eat on Lark's chest...adorable.

I just LOVE this chapter. You more than made my week. I can't wait for the next update!

What a perfect Valentine's Day chapter!

Lark indeed has a lot to learn about sex, but I think Sactaren can teach him. If he can't, then he's a lost cause.

Great character development in this chapter, for all of them. Lark overcoming a bit of his fear, Schaff acting more... well, human, and Sactaren showing that he can be a normal person.

Awe, I loved that chapter. I cracked up so bad when Naeven ended up kneeling on his hair, ruining his sex crawl across the bed, lmfao. Oh wow, ah, I loved it. Finally they did something sexual without Lark completely freaking out and hopefully he won't freak out. WOOT! More soon? Pretty please! ]

I can't imagine what the people who have been reading it from the beginning feel like; the poor souls! Finally they are getting somewhere, though! Well, they have been from the beginning, obviously, we just see it more now. I loved this chapter, though, it was amazingly awesome; Naeven...wow. he rocks, i must say, and i love that whole bit about the dream thing, and him finally understanding.
