Freak in Corner chapter 30 . 5/22/2007 wow loved the story, all the way through, i love the story and the characters and the plots lines and everything. |
The Lucifer Effect chapter 30 . 5/22/2007 Wow...this chapter brought tears to my eyes... I really dont know why though :3 *loves this story* |
darknite109 chapter 30 . 5/22/2007 I love it to death. Damn, I'm gonna miss looking forward to Tuesdays! Take your time, but don't take too long getting the next book started! As for the character development, I believe that Lark has certainly come a long way, and Naeven has to. They both are changing fast, but that makes sense, given the context in which they are living. I loved the thing Lark said about love in the last paragraph. Sounds like love to me! |
Lavender-Drop chapter 30 . 5/22/2007 oh my god you scared the sh** out of me! i was like NO i mean, yeah it's a good ending but i want more! this has been brilliant! i can't wait to read the rest of it and i hope you dont take too long to continue. |
Ishtani chapter 30 . 5/22/2007 Please tell me theres going to be another book! That's just so cliffhanger-ish, but I do like it. It's a graceful, well thought way for Lark to admit his feelings...but please tell me theres a third book, if just to humor me. |
zoule chapter 30 . 5/22/2007 *sniffs in sorrow* it's over already? I'm so sad now... |
Snarky fox chapter 30 . 5/22/2007 Man, I love this. Your such a great writer. I envy you. I guess the ending is okay, I thought it would end a bit different but thats just me. But you could ave taken the ending in so many ways, so this is okay, Maybe you could do an alternative ending? I don't know, but this was so fun to read! 'Til next time then, I'll be waiting! .~ |
SerialXLain chapter 30 . 5/22/2007 "Lucifer spits a mouthful of chewed geranium at Irra's feet" I love him... Gah. You made me forget about the throat cutting...and then it happened. ;-; Leave it up to Lark to be calm with his neck cut open. ;-; Aww. So sweet. But... :clings: Don't leave me. XD Tuesdays will be long and boring without your updates. Hm. I've told you my opinions on the character development and what not in the forums, and I love this story and worship you (but not in a scary, weird way, I promise)... So. :D Oh and thanks for distracting me when I have three exams to study for for tomorrow. :P xo |
Sirivinda chapter 30 . 5/22/2007 Again, I have very little to offer you in terms of constructive criticism... I'm just too in love with this story. Although, having said that, there were a few times throughout the story as a whole where I felt that maybe it would've been nice if Lark would've made some more palpable progress in regards to his sexual hang-ups. I realise that he does make some psychological progress, but at the same time, it's frustrating - even though I understand why - that he fails so in communicating what he feels to Sactaren. Also, and I've now moved away from constructive criticism and entered the realm of general observation, Sactaren sometimes makes me incredibly angry and disgusted with his sexual remarks, and his inconsiderate attitude towards everyone he deals with. It feels weird to want Lark to end up happily ever after with someone who's got that kind of approach to things. Because I still do. I still wish they would become this awesome mage couple and rule all the worlds in the universe, but I can't help but feeling a teensy bit annoyed with Sactaren at times. I think the ending is fine. I would've liked for Sactaren to be awake to hear what Lark had to say, because dubious as he can be, I think he deserves to know some of what's going on in Lark's head. Character development-wise, I love your characters. The various creatures and townsfolk and the rest of them - they're all weirdly believable and interesting and whatnot. The one single thing, is what I've mentioned about Sactaren and Lark, how they're developing as a unit. Sactaren on his own is absolutely fine, and so is Lark, but their relationship sometimes seems to be treading water. Then again, maybe I need to take into consideration that this is book format, rather than short story format, and slow progress actually makes sense. If I had this book in my hand (like, you know, a book), I might not even had thought about it. Oh well, even so, I think this story is absolutely amazing, and I can't wait for when you start posting the next book. (Because you're going to, right? Right? Right?) So yeah. I'm in love. You already know this, I suspect, because I've told you before. But just, you know, good luck with your writing and publishing and everything else. And thanks for a brilliant read! All the best, Sirivinda. |
sapphire chapter 30 . 5/22/2007 its awesome! thats the only way to put it - |
FrayFray chapter 30 . 5/22/2007 Amazing story! Your writing is incredible and when I grow up I wanna write just like you! Hahaha, sorry about the lame joke. Seriously now, your writing is very good and this story is one my few, true favorites. The characters have developed very well and the plot is great! The 'romantic' scenes were incredibly well written as well, and you've portrayed Lark's feelings so well that you made me feel the frustration, confusion, etc. I've been following this story like a faithful little reader and I'm sorry about not giving a review every chapter, because I prefer writing a longer one at the end of the story. Again, your story is amazing and I want to thank you for the awesome read. ~Teodora. |
obsidiandreams chapter 30 . 5/22/2007 Well, I was kind of sad that Naeven was asleep and didn't hear what Lark said... but otherwise I liked it too. I'm not sure how constructive I can be, but I have really liked this book and I hope you do get them published. I would definitely buy them. I like the characters a lot, as I've said before, and I like that they're taking their time to get completely together. It's more believable that way, than if they'd just jumped into it with all their issues. I like how complex they both are. They also seem to make a good team, since Lark has the people skills Naeven lacks (or chooses not to display). Also, I like Lucifer. |
Amindaya chapter 30 . 5/22/2007 Wow. That was awfully sudden...wasn't expecting it to end so soon. I guess I missed the warning, or forgot. But yeah, I think it's a good ending, and the book as a whole. It feels like progress has been made, but then again no progress at all...there's just more. That's the best part about series, that they go and go, and then the parts come together to create a whole at the end. I'll be looking forward to the next one. |
Drazuki chapter 29 . 5/21/2007 Okay, didn't want me to review for some reason and kept killing off my review attempts. Which is really sad, since I had such lengthy reviews. This has to be one of my favorite chapters because not only does it have in-depth magic, flickering of Naeven's true feelings, interesting confessions, and overall a frightfully good read, but it has smut. Smut is usually last on my list of what a chapter needs, but I always enjoy a good smutty scene. I'm sorry I haven't reviewed, and preparing to graduate which has been a nightmare and I'm also working directly after school so I can go on another ambassadorial trip this summer. But I can guarantee you that I hunt for an internet connection every Tuesday to get this story. I am also amazed that you are so punctual with your writing. Kudos! |
Naked Penguin Fetus For Pope chapter 29 . 5/18/2007 I think I agree wholeheartedly with that last comment there. Jesus. Lady Sactaren's a bitch. But I love that Naeven admitted that he likes being helpless. So sexy. |
